When the Little Houses Group wanted to create something truly spectacular for Jesse’s House—their Mediterranean-inspired family club and nursery in London—they knew they needed more than just ordinary pool tiles.
A French designer had envisioned stunning Mediterranean arches wrapping seamlessly around the entire swimming pool. But turning that vision into reality? That’s where the real challenge began.
The designer’s concept was ambitious: six distinctive arches flowing continuously around the pool walls, creating an immersive Mediterranean experience for club families. Each arch needed to connect perfectly with the next, forming an unbroken pattern that would transform the space into something magical.
We were commissioned to bring this swimming pool mural installation to life using our custom printed porcelain tiles.
The wraparound: Pool walls aren’t flat canvases. They curve, they angle, and they definitely don’t forgive measurement mistakes. Getting a continuous pattern to meet perfectly where it completes its circuit? That’s precision work at its finest.
The technical reality: We had to map every millimeter, calculate exact placements, and account for the pool’s unique geometry. One small error would break the illusion entirely.
Our solution involved extensive 3D modeling and multiple design adjustments before we even touched a tile. Each 30x60cm custom printed porcelain tile was individually positioned and printed to ensure perfect pattern flow.
