The CERSAIE 2025 International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings recently concluded in Bologna, showcasing the latest fascinating advances in tile technology.
Tile producers from around the world demonstrated their latest products in a series of exhibition spaces, enabling designers and architects to become familiar with the latest developments in the industry.
The VitrA Tiles display highlighted what has become a persistent theme in the industry, sustainability. Established in Tuzla, Istanbul in the early 1990s, VitrA has now become Türkiye’s leading exporter of ceramic tiles to the EU. At this year’s CERSAIE, VitrA presented the “100% Recycled Porcelain Tile”. These are made exclusively from recycled waste materials using a unique recipe. Production times have been considerably reduced, making significant savings in natural gas and electricity use.
