Portuguese jewellery store includes new ceramic tile mural

The celebrated design show, Casacor Sao Paolo 2026 has once again been showcasing the latest

trends in interior design.

Located in a historic building in the city’s Parque de Agua Branca, the show offers visitors a world of contemporary design and innovation, blending tradition and modernity. Running from early June to early August, Casacor Sao Paolo allows some of Brazil’s leading design studios present their interpretation of this year’s theme: Mind and Heart.

One of the show’s 70 environments, Casa Magma, designed by Brazilian studio Suite Arquitetos, is notable for its use of ceramic tiles produced by Portinari. The subtly textured and warmly coloured tiles, made by one of Brazil’s best-known manufacturers, are a key feature of this suite of rooms, which emphasise warmth, comfort and a cocoon-like safe space.

The tiles are a key element in the central living room space. The colour palette contains subtle dark red, walnut, terracotta and burgundy tones. Brazilian furniture and artworks complement the rooms. Fluted ceramic tiles adorn the walls of the sweeping corridor that leads to the central living room, where arcs and curves predominate over sharp corners and rectangular forms.

Once again, a leading exhibition event testifies to the seemingly endless possibilities of ceramic tiles, and the medium’s enduring popularity with the world’s most innovative designers.

At Digital Ceramic Custom Tiles, we create high-quality custom ceramic tiles for interior and exterior spaces, using advanced tile printing technology. If you are a designer looking for a tile that will complement and enhance your project, we would love to hear from you.
